One of the best sites to see in California is the USS Midway aircraft carrier. In addition to its status as a museum, the carrier is a magnificent piece of naval architecture. If you’re looking for a bit of history, you can visit the old town of San Diego. This section of the city is a charming and historic part of the city, with adobe walls and shops that date back to the colonial era. It’s also where the first Catholic service was held in California.

The old Point Loma Lighthouse is another cool landmark to check out. Not only is it a cool landmark, but it is still in operation. When you’re at the top of the tower, you can enjoy a view of San Diego and the Bay.

One of the top things to do in San Diego is to see the city’s beautiful waterfront. You can stroll the harbor, take a boat tour, or visit the shops and restaurants that line the bay. Even if you don’t have time to explore all of the sites, a quick walk through the water will give you a glimpse of what makes this city so special.

If you’re into shopping, the Cedros Avenue Design District is a must-see. Here you’ll find more than 80 vendors, selling everything from juice bars and smoothie stands to homemade goods.

While you’re in the area, you should visit the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. This art museum has many different forms of art, from modern paintings to sculptures to vintage prints. And if you have a rainy day, you can always try your hand at a self-guided tour. Learn about San Diego.
